Panto Villain Madely Robs Hammers Of Undeserved Points

It is the Christmas season and down on the South Coast along with many other traditional holiday resorts Bournemouth do a roaring trade in Pantomime, currently Jack and the Bean Stalk is running at the Pavilion Theatre. If they suddenly need a back up Panto villain then they need look no further than referee Bobby Madley!

It is plainly obvious to anyone with eyes that the home team's last gasp equaliser was incorrectly given, Callum Wilson diverted a Nathan Ake header in, but the goal was initially disallowed for offside before Madley gave it, West Ham were mortified by the decision because Wilson had been in an offside position when Ake's header went across the goal, but worse than that his final touch was with his arm, a clear handball.

"I think he said the assistant referee only put his flag up to draw attention to it, and I've never heard of that ever," said David Moyes."To lose a goal like that is a killer - it's hard to take, If the assistant referee raises his flag, what would it be for? Offside? Arguably you could say that it was offside, but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. But I can't give them any benefit of the doubt for their player raising his hand."

Moyes' anger would not have been entirely directed at the malfunctioning referee, because his team were woeful for large parts of the game and were only leading going in to the last minutes courtesy of two howlers from Asmir Begovic in the Bournemouth goal and some clinical finishing from 'Elbows' Arnoutovic who scored a brace despite wearing an incorrectly named shirt during the match!

James Collins put West Ham ahead early in the first half, before Dan Gosling equalised before the break, Ake then scored in the second half, only for Arnautovic to put the visitors within reach of a fifth league win of the season. It seemed that three points were in the bag when 'Elbows' followed up a Chicarito shot which Begovic had pushed straight in to his path, and then came the contentious equaliser.

Realistically Hammers were extremely fortunate to be in a winning position at all because Bournemouth deserved to win for the way they played, they had 26 attempts on goal but the result means they remain third from bottom, a point and a place below a West Ham side that rode their luck and could have been on the receiving end of a 'right hiding' if things had gone the host's way. As it is the feeling of being 'cheated' has to be off set by the reality of how poor West Ham are currently playing against the 'lesser' teams, the midfield in particular looks extremely vulnerable and is an area that David Moyes has clearly identified and knows needs strengthening with upmost urgency.

A final word from a very honest Cherries boss Eddie Howe."It looks like we might have got away with one there, but I thought a draw was the least we deserved. I know it's difficult for West Ham to take." You can say that again Eddie, all the good work done by beating Chelsea and drawing with Arsenal along with destroying Stoke has been negated by the two poor results against Newcastle and Bournemouth, two games that should have yielded at least three points! -Ed

Happy Chistmas From www.westhamfans.org To All Orgers Worldwide

Result could have been better yesterday, Little Ed in particular was very 'disenfranchised' much to the chagrin of Lady B he is sure, let's face it following West Ham is a roller coaster ride of happiness and usually despair. Parents who inflicted being a 'Hammer' on their offspring would now make the front page of the 'Evening Excess', or even the Daily Snail, for neglect or abuse or some other Corbynesque misdeed!

After all, inflicting a life long of pain and suffering with brief glimpses of wild hope and blind faith is surely a cruel and wicked thing to burden and saddle a young man or woman as they go hence forth in their voyage of discovery. The joy of opening a gift from a well meaning Grandma who has managed to jump the alleged 50,000 queue in order to get a season ticket that people would nearly 'die for' is surely the epitome of a poisoned chalice., "thanks nan, you have now committed me to a life of sorrow and lost dreams, over priced beverages and the most expensive crisps known to man except the ones that used to be sold in the most outrageously priced petrol station in main land Britain which was located at the junction of Kensington High Street and Warwick Road right opposite the Bristol Cars Show room.

Well with a sanguine and slightly recalcitrant stab at optimism we at the Org wish all you fellow sufferers a Happy Christmas and a less than lonely New Year!

Being touted for us to arrive in January - I think he's a talent and if he came to us he'd be in with a squeak of the England World Cup Squad. Wasted with the sheep shaggers...

Players we should look to get shot of and why.

Personally I don't think our squad is as bad as people say. Having said that there IS a lot I'd get rid of in January if we had a magic wand. Some players don't fit in what we are trying to do but are very good players, some have bad attitudes, some are injury prone and the rest are bad. For me it reflects the mis management of the club from bilic and the board. There was no clear direction so instead of getting a certain type of forward (for example) we just got one with a bit of a name but doesn't fit in. So for me I'd get rid of, 1 hart wtf was his signing all about? Publicity? 2 fonte far too old and no future. 3 snodgrass doesn't offer us anything we don't have from players we already have. 4. Ayew doesn't offer enough in a game and I can't really see a defined position he would be good in. 5 kouyate, reminds me of someone who thinks he has a lot more skills than he actually does, often a liability in midfield. 6 Hernandez, just won't fit with what Moyes is trying to do, so will be a waste unless he changes the way he is playing which he won't. 7 Carroll bad attitude, shirker, injury prone and just drags our style down when he plays. 8 sakho- just burnt too many bridges. IMO if we lost all those tomorrow they won't make hardly any difference other than a lack of numbers.

£8million bid apparently and it has been rejected....of course like buying anything we all look for a bargain but a player rated allegedly at £15million did they expect anything other than to be told no....of course its all a game of brinkmanship between clubs but i hope we try and get this done quick and not let it drag on until the last day of the window...yesterdays result against newcastle shows how much in need we are of new blood

Little englander and the blue passport

Submitted by Red Neck Iron on Fri, 22/12/2017 - 21:41

Before I start this is NOT intended to be a political thread in any way. I'm a bit of a traditionalist, and can't help rejoice in the fact we are getting back the blue passport. I'm sure you can remember those days. Dark blue passport stiff as a British upper lip and able to swat away any Johnny Foreigner wishing to over step the mark by questioning the creditials of a British citizens. The not so old red one was a bit apologetic of a passport. It's flimsy, no backbone. The old British passport would servive an air crash better than the planes black box flight recorder. Red? I mean red? How on earth can we immediately be recognised as British without it? (Turns off God save the queen) anything else you wish they would bring back that screams we are British.

yup its the rumour. isn't it amazing how these managers simply get on the merry go round and end up at another club? i bet Pulis goes back to Stoke and Koeman or Bilic to Swansea.
